Letter to the Editor – October 2

What an utter surprise and (selfish) delight to read in this week’s local small-town newspaper a letter supporting similar beliefs to mine! We are few and far between, we blue progressives, in this land of vocal and volatile Trump supporters.  And no where could feel more divided than the rural locale. At least that’s my opinion and perspective of the moment.  Her paragraph “I am not afraid…” literally gave me goosebumps.

I applaud your bravery, Shari, to stand visibly in this corner. It is not an easy place to reside these days. And your words of encouragement about my writing, well, they mean the world to an introverted, bumbling word-pounder-outer such as myself.  Thank you. Truly.

Author: Angle Full of Grace

A writer, woods-wanderer, and internal peace seeker who raises two free-range children in the wilderness, I escaped the wasteland of corporate America a few years back never to return. I write about love, family, mental health, addiction, parenthood and personal growth all through lens of place and connection to the land. Most entries are my weekly column for our local small-town newspaper, and there's an occasional feature story thrown in the mix as well.

  1. Yes Kellie, as Shari said there are many more of us hard working libs out here, some quiet and some like myself pretty vocal on my personal facebook page. However, as a small business owner you would not be able to find anyone to say politics is spoke in my store, that is personal and everyone’s prize for being a citizen of the USA. Shari & I have spoke about you almost on a daily basis and I know how you have moved her & I. So here’s a cheer for your liberty, Love you !
